Christmas Goodie Bags

Ah!

I have been so slack this week in posting but I have been working on Quite The Occasion stuff.  I realized last night that I could have just been sharing those posts here all week...duh!  Well you will have to go check them out.

This weekend is set aside to decorate the house for Christmas and I can't wait!  We won't have our tree yet but I am going to get everything else out.  So excited!  I did pick up some Christmas labels I had printed for our neighborhood goodie bags.  I had so many of the red bags from Reed's party left over.  Remember these?

So I created these labels to print on cardstock to cover the label from Reed's party.

I put one together last night.  Pretty cute and a great way to reuse what I had.  The bags were already very cheap.  They are colored lunch bags from Target.  The blue ones would be great too with more of a snowflake theme.

I just glued the card on, punched a couple of holes in the bag and tied the ribbon.  I am going to fill them with these super yummy cookies I posted about this week over at QTO and give them out to my neighbors and friends.

I am going to be posting a free printable of this label over at QTO next week so be sure to check it out!

Have a great weekend.  Can't wait to show off my decorated house, yarn wreath and creative way to display Christmas cards next week!

Welcome Home Prosecco - Homemade Gift Tag

We have met some WONDERFUL people in our neighborhood.  One of the great couples we have had the pleasure of meeting just got married.  They are in our neighborhood supper club and we have really enjoyed getting to know them.  Rudy and I wanted to welcome them home from their honeymoon so I left them a little treat on their doorstep.
I like to save cards to make gift tags.  I do this mostly at the holidays but I save stationary note cards that can be used all year round as well.  I also save nice ribbon too from gifts to reuse.  I put this together for our neighbors.

I just picked up a bottle of prosecco and put it on ice in this cute beverage cooler.

Didn't cost a lot of money and a fun way to welcome them home.  Cheers!
