Sorry for the delays in posts...I am living it up at MDA Summer Camp right now!
As I mentioned on Monday, I have been planning Reed's birthday - A Picnic in the Park. We have a great park down the street from our house with a play ground and Frisbee Golf Course. Our back yard isn't great for parties and I kind of like the idea of having all the entertainment built in at the park.
Theresa and I will be styling it of course! I am going to have a 10x10 tent which will be the focal point of the party as well as provide coverage for the food and beverages. I loved how the bunting turned out for the nautical party we styled.
And I wanted to create something similar for the tent for Reed's party. At church, I noticed this great felt bunting that decorated the halls in the kids area. How cute! And EASY! And sort of boyish and outdoorsy. And probably durable. These will hold up a lot longer than anything paper would which is why I am sure they created them for the church because they get taken down and put up every single week.
I found this great tutorial from okey dokey artichokey for felt bunting that I am going to try for his party.

Stay tuned for my version in September!
