Bachelorette Season Premier Viewing Party

My friend Julie is crazy for The Bachelorette and kindly invited a bunch of girls over to her house for a party to watch this season's premier.  I have never actually seen the show but am always up for meeting new people and a girl's night.  Sadly, my house lost power so I wasn't able to stay to watch the whole show (couldn't leave Reed home with no heat!)...but I was there long enough to snap some pictures of her set up.

Here is Julie - notice the heart apron?  I love a theme and Julie didn't let us down!  She is the perfect hostess.  So welcoming and really thought of everything.  As we walked up to her house, she called warmly from the door "welcome ladies!  Come on in!"

And I just had to take a picture of her adorable shoes...

Now to the party stuff...she had these cute conversation hearts on one of her end tables.  Love was in the air!  Each guest had a sheet of all the girls pictures so we could vote on who would receive the first rose.  The winner got to take home a prize - red nesting bowls from Crate & Barrel.  Such a nice gift!

Her mantel was adorned with a cute garland that she made with X and O letters attached to rope with mini clothespins.  Very cute.

Her table was decorated with snacks - dinner was served later.  Yummy homemade lasagna, salad and bread.  Individual heart shaped cheesecakes for dessert!

And of course she had red roses on the entry table...

Her bar and dinner buffet was set up in the kitchen - I loved this wall plaque.

I asked what I could bring and when she suggested iced tea I knew just what to bring.  Get my iced tea recipe here.
